Your Questions Answered

01.

How long is a float session?

We currently offer 60 minute sessions. Your float will begin at the scheduled time. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled float time for your short orientation for first time floaters and pre-float shower. Once you're comfortable with the process, arriving 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time is adequate.

02.

What do I wear?

Nothing. You float in your birthday suit! It is a private experience and you are required to shower before and after. The water is carefully crafted to match your body temperature so that you truly are able to experience sensory deprivation without the distraction of clothing pressing on your body.

03.

What do I need to bring?

All essentials are provided, including: towel, washcloth, foot towel, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, earplugs, petroleum jelly, & makeup wipes. You are more than welcome to bring your own shower products if you desire.

04.

Will I float?

Yes you will! With 1,200 to 2,000 pounds of Epsom salt dissolved into just 10 inches of water, it is incredibly buoyant and you will float effortlessly on top of the water regardless of your body type.

05.

How often should I float?

While you could technically float every day with no negative effects, we find that the relaxing effects of floating last for more than a day and clients typically gain the most benefit from floating on a regular time interval, whether it be weekly or monthly.

06.

What if I am claustrophobic or afraid?

Our float rooms are very large compared to traditional pods, with ceilings that are nearly 7' high, a normal door, and grab bar for making it easy to get in and out of the tank. In addition, the experience is completely customizable with your choice of lights and sound.
